The first
few months were spent sussing out the
industry and the current state of offers
that were available in Oman. Thereafter
it was time to act! Being the
adventurous type of guys they were, they
chose the route of adventure tourism to
make their mark on the industry. With
the concept of “always think outside the
box” ringing loud and true in their
ears, they set off to create the most
forward thinking tour operator in Oman.
The foundations were laid and the walls
started to rise around what was to be
the OWT household. The principals for
OWT were set out as follows; Ethics,
Quality, Value for Money and Extra
Benefit.
With these ideals in hand it was time to
set about employing the right staff to
make sure that the quality, that OWT was
setting out to produce, was reached. The
requirement was to find people that were
passionate about tourism and Oman. By
handpicking guides and in-house staff
the guys were able to ensure that their
requirements were met.
With the staff in place it was time for
everyone to come together to brainstorm
the best possible trips for our clients.
We didn’t want our trips to be just like
everyone else’s. We wanted trips that
people would remember for the rest of
their lives.
OWT has chosen never to lose sight of
the one thing which matters most in
tourism, the tourists. With a quick
turnaround time on all enquiries and top
notch service, always with a smile, we
aim to go a little further than everyone
else. Why just drink tea, when you can
have tea and cookies? Well that is what
we asked ourselves. So we set about
